Introduction
Thank you for taking the time to review our Terms and Conditions. At times U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) will collect certain personal information about customers and visitors to websites hosted by us. Such information will include both identifiable personal data. Identifiable personal information will be collected when you sign a contract for service with us, or use our website for a transaction
The purpose of this document is to explain to customers what types of information we will collect and how that information is used. In most cases, we collect this information to ensure network integrity and that we continue to provide you with the most relevant content and best possible service that suits your needs. In some cases, we are required by law to collect personal information about customers. Except where the law requires otherwise, we undertake to protect the confidentiality of such data.
Confidentiality
U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) respects customer privacy and the privacy of those accessing our website. We undertake to protect the confidentiality of our customers including all personal information supplied in the course of contracting with us for services. We undertake not to sell your personal information to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
Use of Personal Data
U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) may on occasion use your personal information to contact you about promotional offers; advise you of matters relevant to service provision and in some cases, solicit your feedback. However, U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) will provide you with an option within every communication to opt out of receiving any communications of this nature or you can contact us to ensure that you do not receive such promotional information.
Any information U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) collects from you through correspondence with us, whether via e-mail, telephonically or by written letter, will only be used to address the matters within that correspondence. If this requires referring such correspondence within U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) or to a third party to ensure customer service, your personal information will only be disclosed to the point necessary to address your query or concerns, and will otherwise be kept confidential
Upon enrolling in a course with any school, a student is entering a legal agreement under common law, in which they agree to abide by the conditions of enrolment (including meeting stated payments), in exchange for the service offered by the institution in the delivery of the course.
U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) operates a refund policy which is fair and equitable.
· Notification of withdrawal (cooling off period) from a course must be received in writing within 7 days of enrolment, in order to qualify for a full refund (less postage, handling and administration costs - minimum 15%, more for overseas students).
· Course Duration: Short Courses should be completed within 12 months of enrolment.
· Deferments and Extensions: If there is a valid reason, you may apply to the office manager in writing for a deferment or extension. If you have demonstrated some commitment to study we grant 6-12 month extensions without question. If you demonstrate exceptional circumstances, we will normally grant 6 to 12 month deferments, as necessary. Recommencement fees will apply
· Disclaimer: Every attempt is made to ensure all information from the school is accurate and that the student has attained the competencies taught in a course, at the point of their assessment. Beyond this point, the graduate is responsible to maintain their acquired competencies, and apply acquired knowledge and skills in a way which is appropriate to the unique characteristics of each application. This will release the school from any liability, action and claims of whatsoever nature in connection with, or arising from any such information, instruction or advice, given by any student or ex-student, whether directions given during the course are followed or not.
Courses, course notes and materials are not to be sold, loaned, copied, or used in any way outside of the pursuit of studying the course by the person who is enrolled in the course, unless permission is sought and granted in writing by the principal.

Booking Confirmation
Once we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation letter or email with an invoice/receipt.
Payment
Payment can be made by:
· online payment at www.oohlalapetspa.com.au
· cheque made payable to Ooh La La Pets Ltd Pty
· Credit card by completing an online booking form, by phone, fax or by post. Credit card details via email will not be accepted under any circumstances. Surcharges will apply for credit cards. Surcharges Visa/MasterCard 1.25%, Amex,Diner, American Express 3%
Fee Policy
· Fee’s are payable on enrolment
· Administration fee of 15% is included in the subject fee
· Administration fee is non-refundable
· Fees are subject to change. Students are required to confirm current fees prior to enrolment
· Enrolments are processed in the order they are received. U.P.E.T.S will supply a letter as confirmation of enrolment.
· Students must advise the training services Administration of their intent to defer. Recommencement of studies requires payment of an Administration fee of 15%. Students are to confirm current fees and any addition costs must be prior to recommencement.
· You have a cooling off period of 7 days from date of enrolment. To receive a refund, minus the Administration fee of 15%, you must apply in writing and received before the end of the cooling off period of 7 days from
Cancellations
Cancellations, deferments and extensions will only be accepted if made in writing, a fee will apply.
Cancellation by a delegate will be charged at 100% of the course fee, if the course start date is less than 21 working days. All other cancellations will be charged at 15% of the original course fee.
Substitute delegates will be accepted free of charge. If course documentation (Registration Forms, etc) has already been sent to the client it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the replacement delegate receives this documentation.
EQUIPMENT
Students are responsible for supplying all their equipment and animals which is required for some courses.
MATERIALS
All material supplied by U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) remains the copyright of Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd and no copies may be made. U.P.E.T.S Universal Pet Education & Training Service (Ooh La La Pets Pty Ltd) reserves the right to modify both the course Syllabus and Schedule as it sees fit. Where possible, seven days notice will be provided to the customer and an alternative solution offered.
ASSESSMENTS
All assessments will need to be submitted after each model for examination. All examinations will need to be completed and submitted within the course timeline. You will receive the results within 4 weeks. If you have passed, you will receive a certificate of completion. For a pass result you will require 75% or above. If you were under a pass result then you will need to work on the area’s that is needed to give you a pass. You will
have one more assessment on the area's you needed to improve on. After the final assessment you will recieve your final result. |
