We have put together several courses for persons who wish to learn how to groom ther own dog or who wish to learn as a career.
Distant Education is only available at this time. Personal training is available for those who live in the area. Personal Training is an option only as an addition charge to any courses that you register for. Personal Training is charged as per hour.
You can either go to the Downloads page on this site for your Enrolment Form or simply fill out the Enrolment Form at the bottom of this page. All forms are to be returned. (Enrolment Form, Terms & Conditons Form)
Courses:
Bathing - this will teach you the correct bathing techniques for your pet. Duration: 1 month
Basic Pet Grooming 01 - for the persons who wish to groom at home doing there own pet, this is for you. This is a beginners course which will teach you the basics. Duration: 6 months
Professional Basic Pet Grooming 02 - for persons who wish to groom as a career. This is a beginners course which will teach you all the basics that i think a beginner should know. From bathing, worms & parasites, skin disorders, nutrition, grooming techniques, coat types plus more. Includes 1 model dog for grooming lesson, training DVD and manual. Duration: 12 months, 8 x 3hr Observing sessions- 1 per week on a nominated day (local students only).
